5 Technical Webinars | 1 Session Every Week | 30-Minute Sessions Including Live Q&A | Free Participation
Starting from June 25th, 2026
Discover how advanced Nitrogen process control is helping extrusion plants increase productivity, stabilize the extrusion process and improve profile quality.
The webinar series for aluminium extrusion plants ready to move beyond traditional process limits
As extrusion speeds increase and profiles become more complex, many plants are struggling with overheating, unstable process conditions, inconsistent quality and shorter extrusion runs — all consequences of thermal instability generated during extrusion.
Many plants already use Nitrogen technologies, but without proper process integration and control, results often remain below expectations. The real challenge is not simply using Nitrogen, but controlling how it behaves inside the extrusion process to improve productivity and stability.
Traditional extrusion control is no longer enough
N5 Academy is a technical webinar series for extrusion professionals who want to understand how advanced Nitrogen process control can improve productivity, process stability and profile quality.
Across five sessions, the series will explore thermal instability, GAN vs LIN technologies, how N5Nitrogen works and the measurable results achievable through controlled isothermal extrusion.

The Cost of not controlling overheating in the extrusion process

The first session will explain how overheating generated by friction creates hidden losses in extrusion, affecting productivity, surface quality, mechanical characteristics, die life and the number of consecutive billets. It will also show how N5Nitrogen helps maintain the process within a controlled thermal window, moving from operator-dependent performance to system-controlled stability.

Webinar
Using Nitrogen for the entire production: The strategic choice between Gas and Liquid Nitrogen

This webinar will clarify the real difference between Gas and Liquid Nitrogen, why many applications fail to deliver tangible results and how to understand when each technology should be used. It will also explain why, in many plants, only gas reaches the die even when Liquid Nitrogen is expected, due to incorrect system architecture, die channel design or lack of process know-how.
Webinar 2
July 2nd, 2026 | 15:00 CET
The system behind performance: How N5Nitrogen works

Participants will explore the system behind N5Nitrogen performance: cryogenic infrastructure, Atie’s subcooler, correct injection, channelization, flow control software and integration with PLC, MES and ERP systems. The session will also explain how consulting during the project helps define when to use Liquid Nitrogen and how to optimize process results.
Webinar 3
July 9th, 2026 | 15:00 CET
From process control to measurable results

The fourth session will show why temperature control is critical in extrusion and how N5Nitrogen enables isothermal extrusion by eliminating temperature peaks. The webinar will present how stable thermal conditions support higher speed, longer runs, improved surface quality, better mechanical characteristics, reduced quality scrap and improved OEE.
Webinar 4
July 16th, 2026 | 15:00 CET
From Nitrogen System installation to ROI: A controlled path to performance

The final webinar will focus on why the installation of a Nitrogen system alone does not deliver ROI. It will explain how process know-how, correct setup, die preparation, parameter optimization, monitoring and continuous improvement are required to transform N5Nitrogen into a repeatable and scalable performance model
